We are looking for a fun, energetic, and eager-to-learn Customer Support Representative to join our Wiggins branch team. 

Your Mission

As the face of our branch, you give every customer a warm welcome and make local banking feel supportive and easy. You do much more than basic transactions—you guide customers through daily banking, empowering them with your knowledge of our products and services.

The Day to Day

You will welcome customers, accurately handle their transactions, answer questions and guide them through problem-solving. You'll open new accounts, help people use our digital app, and connect customers with experts when they need extra help. Working alongside your team, you will use Google tools and banking software in a friendly, supportive workspace.

What you bring to High Plains Bank:

Qualifications and Experience

  • Any customer service experience (retail, food service, or team environments)

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Desired Skills and Knowledge

  • Good basic math skills and cash handling

  • Friendly personality and strong communication skills

  • Ability to learn quickly, accept helpful feedback, and multi-task

  • Basic computer skills (Google Workspace, chat tools)

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities of the position

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver exceptional community banking experiences: Greet customers warmly, build relationships, and accurately process deposits, withdrawals, and payments.

  • Be a local banking champion: Learn our products to coach customers, help open or manage accounts, and show customers how to use our digital banking app.

  • Practice effective communication: Listen carefully and communicate with clarity and kindness.

  • Problem-solve and collaborate: Help resolve customer questions and connect them to team members who specialize in other areas when appropriate.

  • Maximize efficiency, quality, and compliance: Keep customer information safe, protect cash, and follow bank rules to prevent fraud.

Other Responsibilities

  • Work under the guidance of the Branch Support Manager to support daily branch tasks.

  • Help keep the branch lobby running smoothly.

  • Participate in team training, coaching, and skill-building opportunities.

  • Perform additional branch duties as assigned.

Target compensation range

  • $18.00-$21.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications - other factors may be considered

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of standing and working on a computer

Location and Schedule

  • In person at our Wiggins, CO location

  • 8:00 am -5:00 pm, Monday - Friday
